We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. We’re big fans of love, travel, and adventures which takes us to Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Texas, Washington and across the world. Last spring on the track at Standford University on a moonlit night Geoffrey got down on one knee and asked his best friend Elaine to marry him! It was the perfect place filled with so many memories. He was a shot put and discus thrower and she was a high jumper. It was on those athletic fields that they first met and their friendship grew turning into mutual love and trust. They are not only athletic but such a gorgeous couple inside and out. We were so excited for their wedding as they were! Geoffrey is always cool, calm, and very laid back. Since Elaine is also a wedding and event coordinator at Southwind Hills, she is really detailed, organized, and full of ideas. So we were expecting their pecan farm wedding to be full of loveliness and we were not disappointed! They got married in the First Christian Church in Sulphur, OK with beautiful stained glass windows but celebrated at Geoffrey’s family’s pecan orchard in Wynnewood, OK. Elaine looked so stunning in her Pronovias Uzquita wedding dress and the blush pink and sky blue dresses on her bridesmaids were oh so pretty. Geoffrey was so handsome in his navy suit and the rest of the guys looked so stylish in their suspenders. They have the most supportive and loving family & friends who helped with all the decorating and who just came and hanged out with them as they got ready. We loved the hay bales with blankets and the big tent which kept guests cool and where everyone partied the night away.
