We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. We’re big fans of love, travel, and adventures which takes us to Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Texas, Washington and across the world. When we were asked to shoot Luke and Taylor’s wedding at the Lodge at Bridal Creek we didn’t give it a second thought. You see, we’ve photographed Luke’s sister’s wedding, his sister’s best friend’s wedding, and the weddings of two of their friends. Now with this amazing wedding, we were so excited! Photographing their wedding meant that we were going to see all these lovely families again and all the people we’ve met along the way. These are people that we’ve adored for the last four years and they have been a big part of our journey in photography and in life. It was like coming home. Luke and Taylor’s wedding was our first wedding of the year. What an amazing way to kick off 2016! It didn’t feel like January at all. The day was so lovely and we were celebrating the most adorable couple. Taylor is the nicest person. She is a beautiful bride inside and out. Luke is a very lucky guy {Taylor is pretty lucky too *wink*}. One more unforgettable thing, circle dances! Whenever you get together with this group, with good music, you always seem to end up swaying arm in arm in a massive circle around the dance floor. They are a kind and handsome couple who are very much in love. Taylor’s eyes always light up when she sees Luke. Surrounded by wonderful families and stellar friends, they deserved this incredible day.
