We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. We’re big fans of love, travel, and adventures which takes us to Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Texas, Washington and across the world. We are passionate about documenting genuine and uninhibited love between two people because telling their story matters.
Josh and Erin love the atmosphere, feel, and architecture of downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. Since Erin actually works around downtown, they have many memories there and it just made sense to photograph their engagement where they can be comfortable and just be themselves. They’ve been happily together for about 10 years and they decided to take the leap! Josh took Erin out to the exact spot where their grandparents proposed at a lakeside in Ardmore, OK. Who knows, maybe the universe left some magic there that keeps people together. It doesn’t hurt but I think all these two need is each other. They are such a kind-hearted and happy couple. The afternoon was so much fun darting back and forth with them across the streets. And it was nice to step back from it all with their dog Maynard at Centennial Park and watch the sun set over the cityscape. We can’t wait to photograph these two lovebird’s wedding at the Harper & Copper Rooms in Ardmore, OK later this year!
