We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. Micah and Kerry are one of the most relaxed and laid-back couples we’ve ever met. They have an awesome attitude about life. They just want to have fun, not stress, and share a donut. That’s why we love them so much! One of our rules we have when booking couples is that we have to meet in person. If we can’t meet in person, then we need to at least Facetime or Skype. With these two living in Kansas, it ended up being the latter. I think it was one of the longest Skype calls we’ve ever had. We kept chatting and laughing. We were having too much fun. The day of the engagement session in downtown Tulsa, OK, was the first time to meet Micah and Kerry in person. And just as expected, we hit it off instantly with these lovebirds. We wanted to get to know them better and for them just to be themselves, so we spent the afternoon with them. We did some tapas + drinks and headed off to explore downtown Tulsa. They are really the funniest couple to be around! They had a dance off and showed us their moves. The laughter continued the entire time we were shooting. They simply strolled through the alleyways checking out city murals, enjoying the afternoon together. Finally, the night wouldn’t have been complete without hitting up Hurts Donut Co.
