A soft, romantic color palette made this dreamy spring wedding at Sparrow Beginnings in Stillwater, OK feel effortlessly beautiful. Brian and Audrey are such a stunning couple, and their entire wedding day was simply lovely from start to finish. The two first met through mutual friends while attending medical school in Arkansas, and the medical field has been a meaningful part of their journey together. It only felt fitting that they added a few playful hospital-themed touches throughout their reception to celebrate that chapter of their story.
The morning began in the most relaxed way. The girls enjoyed hair and makeup with drinks in hand, while the guys kept things casual with cornhole and video games. Meanwhile, Brian waited anxiously for the moment he would finally see his bride. What he didn’t know was that Audrey and his best man were plotting a little surprise upstairs. During the first look, Brian turned around expecting to see Audrey — only to find himself face-to-face with his best friend wearing a wedding dress! The look of pure surprise on his face is something I will never forget.
Audrey chose the most charming details for the day — and her shoes! Sparkling and full of personality, they were absolutely ready for the dance floor. Florals and greenery seemed to spill from every corner, giving the entire celebration a fresh, airy feel. Sage green bridesmaid dresses paired beautifully with blush and white blooms, while soft hints of gold added the perfect finishing touch. It’s such a dreamy combination of colors and textures. While I could go on about the flowers, the palette, and all the beautiful details, the real highlight of the day was Brian and Audrey themselves. Their celebration was elegant and joyful, but they are truly the most genuine and down-to-earth couple. It was such a joy to see them surrounded by the people who love them most as they stepped into this new chapter together.
