We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. People came from all over the world to watch Andrew and Susan get married! No really, they did. Susan’s family from Chile and Andrew’s family from Taiwan, flew all the way to Tulsa, OK to celebrate. The journey was absolutely worth it because the day was totally epic! The Dresser Mansion is beautiful, quirky, and warm just like this adorable couple. The teal walls of the bridal suite gave a feeling that this was a unique moment in time, and really it was. Getting ready is a calmness filled with building anticipation. All the details and planning had finally come together. But most importantly, all of their friends and family had come together in total support. The outdoor ceremony in the courtyard filled with flowers had a light and happy mood. It may be because we are dog people but it was really touching to see their little corgi walk down the aisle. The bridesmaid wore long flowing mismatched dresses and the groomsmen were in bow-ties and suspenders. How fun is that? And they were a fun group, especially when they hit the dance floor!
Congrats Andrew and Susan! You are two truly wonderful humans and we hope to remain friends for a long time. You have the right attitude about life and a genuine kindness towards others.
