We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. Definitely one of our favourite intimate weddings to date! It was even featured in the Brides of Oklahoma magazine. We love Travis and Kerrie’s creative style and they are such awesome human beings. We seriously can’t get enough of our stunning bride, Kerrie, in her WTOO dress and beautifully handmade quartz crown! We got a sneak peak at Kerrie’s bridals at the Philbrook Museum. The mismatched blush bridesmaid dresses were so fun and all the girls also had handmade gem hair pieces. The boys looked so dapper in their navy blue and charcoal suits. Plus we got to work with amazing vendors! The Dresser Mansion in Tulsa, OK is one of the absolute best wedding venue. Charlie and Bethany are a dream to work with. I love the teal doors and walls and the old world whimsical feel. You are guaranteed a storybook Tulsa wedding. But Travis and Kerrie definitely added their own inspiration. Kerrie wanted the feel of a gilded garden party with geodes and geometric themed elements throughout. Everything was so classy and if you know Kerrie, gold! The most memorable moment of the whole day by far was the love and tears that flowed during the ceremony. I love it when couples write their own vows. I’m not gonna lie, I got all choked up too. I have to give a shout out to Simply Amazing Service for the food. It was much more than catering, it was the best Italian food made fresh to order straight to the guest…simply amazing! Kerrie always has a bit of sparkle about her but she stole the day once again during the no holds barred dance party reception with her gold sequin party dress. And of course she had her dancing shoes on!
