We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. We’re big fans of love, travel, and adventures which takes us to Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Texas, Washington and across the world. We are passionate about documenting genuine and uninhibited love between two people because telling their story matters.
The entire town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas is a real gem. If you haven’t been, you have to go! It’s a small town nestled in the Ozark Mountains. It’s filled with skinny roads winding up and down hills, all connecting at weird angles, and they’re lined with old buildings filled with boutique shops. It has a bit of an art scene but it also has a party vibe and hint of supernatural like New Orleans. And at the very top of one of those hills you’ll find the old 1886 Crescent Hotel. Such a cool venue! It is filled with historic charm although a bit haunted! I recommend the ghost tour. It was the perfect venue for David and Meagan’s intimate wedding. It’s almost impossible to put into words how madly in love these two are! I think part of it is that they were so so excited for baby Dalton who was on the way. There were so many ridiculously sweet unscripted moments. You never have to tell these two to smile or hold each other. Simply step back and let them be themselves together. The whole day was so much fun! David’s groomsmen are the most hilarious bunch! And Meagan’s bridesmaids were always there for her. Their good friend became licensed as an officiant just for their wedding which made the ceremony so much more special. The reception had a cozy and friendly atmosphere. All the guests chatting and laughing late into the night. So much love…I thought my heart was going to explode. ♥
Congrats David and Meagan and to baby Dalton of course! He will be raised in the most loving family. You two are the sweetest couple. We will always have wonderful memories of Eureka Springs. We can’t wait to see you next year for a love shoot in the pacific northwest! Friends, thank you all for stopping by and make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram! ♥
