We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. It was full on springtime in Oklahoma and there is nothing like the connection you get in a place like the family farm where Matt and Nicki hold so many memories. It’s nice having a place to yourself that feels like home. Matt and Nicki chose to take their Edmond engagement photos on the farm and I’m so glad they did! They were able to just be themselves and Ellie was able to tag along! Does it get any better than having a dog at an engagement session? Ellie was just as excited as us, she pretty much stole the show! Matt and Nicki are the nicest couple. They snuggled and danced in the tall grass as the sun glowed through the trees. It’s a beautiful piece of land and you can see how much they love each other in every photo. We ventured over to a pond and literally turned around to see Matt carry Nicki across the uneven ground and out of the tall grass. So sweet! We love these two because they are practical and such down-to-earth people. We explored some of their favorite spots before finishing up at a beautiful open grassy field to celebrate with a glass of champagne. After all, this day was all about them, the person they want to spend the rest of their life with, and all their dreams and goals together. Cheers!
