We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. Just one year ago at Galveston Island State Park, Michael and Whitney were standing on the top of a lookout tower overlooking the water at sunset. Michael distracted Whitney by asking if she could see a kayaker. When she turned back around, he was down on one knee. Before they knew it, they were getting ready with their closest friends and family at Holiday Inn Tulsa City Center for their big day. It’s actually the perfect getting ready spot. We were able to walk right into downtown Tulsa for photos with the guys while the girls headed over to Centennial Park. I love Whitney’s gorgeous dress and you can never go wrong with sparkly Badgley Mischkas. And I can’t properly express how freaking awesome Michael’s shoes are! These two looked so good, very fashionable, and they are just so funny. Wedding days are always a bit hectic but it was seriously so fun running around the city with this crew. They were married in the Pearl District Building in Tulsa, OK for their industrial chic wedding. I love the exposed walls, chandeliers, and cozy atmosphere. Plus they brought the prettiest blue vintage truck for newlywed photos and their grand send-off. The night started out like a grand dinner party as guest mingled amongst beautifully decorated tables. The energy built up until it exploded into a crazy dance party with hoppin’ live music. These two are so perfect together and too adorable. Seriously, we’re obsessed with these two!
