We arrived expecting the warm, golden tones of fall foliage, the kind of rich amber and rust palette that October so reliably delivers. What we found instead was nothing short of a surprise gift from nature itself. Wildflowers in full bloom, butterflies drifting lazily through the air, and a softness to the light that felt more like a dreamy spring afternoon than an autumn day in Tulsa. In a moment of spontaneous decision making, we abandoned our original plans entirely and made our way straight to the Tulsa Garden Center at the Mansion at Woodward Park. And honestly, it was one of the best calls we could have made. The gardens were alive with color and texture, lush and overflowing in a way that felt almost surreal for the season. There is something undeniably romantic about being surrounded by flowers in full bloom, and these two moved through it all with such natural ease and joy that every frame felt effortless. The setting was extraordinary, but it was their energy that truly made the images sing.

They are warm and playful and deeply, genuinely in love, and that connection radiates in every single image. Their laughter was contagious, their affection for one another completely unguarded, and their willingness to be fully present in every moment made for a session that was as fun to experience as it was to capture. What started as an unexpected detour from our original vision turned into one of the most colorful and joyful engagement sessions we have had the pleasure of photographing. Woodward Park, with all its hidden beauty and natural charm, gave us the most perfect backdrop, and these two gave us everything else.
