Philbrook Museum Garden Engagement | Michael & Kelli

Last December Michael and Kelli took a road trip out to a relative’s place within the splendor of Colorado. What Kelli didn’t know was that Michael was planning something to make the trip unforgettable. It was a beautiful Friday night, so Michael invited Kelli to sit outside with him. As they reached the top of the stairs, two chairs surrounded a lit fire-pit while “Come to Me” by the Goo Goo Dolls played softly in the background. At that moment, Michael got down on one knee, presented Kelli with a ring, and asked her to marry him. She said ‘Yes!’. They are such a fun and joyful couple to be around. I can now imagine how exciting it must have been the evening that he proposed. We were so excited to be able to capture their engagement at the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa. It was an amazing evening getting all of the gardens to ourselves. It’s an amazing place for an amazing couple. The setting was perfect with hundreds of stone steps leading away from the Philbrook Museum terrace. It was fun exploring the myriad paths criss-crossing past fountains and sculpted gardens. It’s as magical as it looks and it felt like we were transported to renaissance Italy.

By the way, the friendly cat comes with the venue, lol. It is totally a fairytale location suitable for a wedding. Which is perfect because they’ll be tying the knot in these gardens at the end of the summer! I seriously cannot wait to come back with these two. Michael and Kelli, you two are amazing and we wish you mountains of happiness together. Thank you everyone for stopping by and feel free to leave some Love ♥ for them {aka comments}.
