We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. The Pacific Northwest around the Seattle, Washington area is so beautiful during the spring. The smell of rain, the fog in the mountains, and the wondrous views of endless trees that extend on forever into the distance reconnects you to the earth. The weather was perfect, some low clouds and only light rain on and off. The air held a cool humidity and it felt like a day for an adventure up to Rattlesnake Ledge.
Joseph & Jessie are a very kind and down to earth couple. Recent transplants to the area, they are fitting in well with the laid back Seattle lifestyle. We strolled around Rattlesnake Lake, skipped stones, and took in the majesty of what nature has to offer. Then off we wandered into one of the many amazing forests of Washington State just up from the lake. Up and up and up we climbed to the top of the world and out onto Rattlesnake Ledge. It feel like the universe purposely placed this scenic viewpoint to remind us where we are. It was a marvelous view that we will forever hold in our heart. These two are having an intimate ceremony at Chandler Park just outside Tulsa, OK.
It was an awesome day spent hiking up the mountain with these two. We can’t wait to see you again in the fall to shoot your wedding!
