Finding a wedding photographer is a big decision especially since there can be so many to choose from and there is so much beautiful work being shared out there. We get it. You don’t want to have to worry about whether your photos will properly capture your wedding day or if the photographer will even show up. When we started our photography we didn’t simply want to show up on the wedding day. We wanted to be there for our couples, helping as much as we could, from the day they book, and remain friends afterwords. We wanted our couples to be proud of every photo we deliver. We had the pleasure of working with Kristine and Scott for our Wedding. It was an immeasurable experience…the hard work and preparation they put into getting to know their clients up front, and make sure they capture everything you want on your day, then how the results are beyond what you could’ve imagined to begin with. From our first introduction I knew they were an awesome team, and I knew I wanted them to be the ones to share our day and capture our memories. Kristine and Scott were with us as our day started, and with us when our day ended. It was like having another member of our family snapping photos with us. I personally loved, how they both got different shots, and different views of the same day. The help they provided, to keep us on schedule during our day was also so very much needed. When you’re a bride or groom, you feel over whelmed already with everything. It’s so nice to have someone help you know where to be, and what to do in a timeframe. They kindly guided us through how our day should be set up. They were so kind, so patient and so involved in our special day. It was wonderful having them there. I remember Kristine helping me with my dress when it would get snagged, and holding her hand at one point because of all the nerves. I just remember feeling very comfortable with them during the whole day. The All-Day wedding coverage they provide is so fun to look back on and remember all the different emotions, and details you forget, because it goes by so fast. They documented the moments when we said our vows, and the raw emotions of joining lives together, they documented nervousness and fun candid shots. They danced with us, laughed with us, and were a significant part of our experience. I could not imagine any other photographers capturing our story the way they did. And it did not end once the night concluded, the hard work they put in to making every print perfect for us was above and beyond what we expected. They shared our progress with teasers, and they were wonderful to see before the final product. They continue to keep you in the loop on the status of where they are at with your photos, and making you feel as though yours are priority to them, and that they want to make sure they are perfect. The final product is given to you like a gift, it is so unique. We received a memory box with our names and wedding date on it and inside were mementos, a usb drive with our photos, but also a few prints they provided and little fun trinkets. It meant so much to us. Overall the entire process of having Kristine and Scott as our wedding photographers, and now our friends, like I said at the beginning, is immeasurable. Shortly after I got engaged, I discovered Blue Elephant Photography on Facebook and fell in love with their work. When they posted they were coming to WA State and looking for couples to have a photo shoot with in the Snoqualmie Falls area, I reached out and we were able to connect. After we were finished with the engagement shoot I knew I wanted to hire them for my wedding. I spoke to 10 different photographers in my area and all of them made me feel like they either didn’t have time or offered these cookie cutter packages that didn’t fit my vision let alone budget. And none of them offered what Scott and Kristine did. Scott and Kristine took us on a hike for our engagement shoot and the photos turned out beautiful. Aside from being AMAZING Photographers – Scott and Kristine are professional, and patient, they were beyond accommodating and it felt like we hired family. They didn’t rush my husband and I during photos. They even scouted out the best places in our home town here in WA to take our newlywed photos, which took a huge amount of stress off of my shoulders. They also coordinated with my Wedding Planner to make sure we stayed on schedule, and offered advice about the ceremony and the best place to stand for the best lighting. Scott and Kristine were able to put together a Wedding Photography Package that fit our budget and our vision. They let me pay them in installments over the year which really helped me budget. And didn’t charge us extra for both of them taking photos of my wedding. Having 2 photographers meant they were able to capture every moment from 9am – 9pm. They even followed us and our guests to our favorite bar and took some awesome candid photos. They were able to capture the intimacy, love, and support we felt the day of our wedding. Scott and Kristine were absolutely amazing to work with! They are both so incredibly nice and down to earth. They were able to truly capture the love that my husband and I share, both in our engagement photos and our wedding photos. They were open to any and all concerns that we had and helped our wedding day move along smoothly with very little stress. They were even willing to be out in the rain! (yes, it did rain on our wedding day during our outside ceremony) They are a little bit more on the pricy side compared to other photographers that we looked at in the area, however it was worth the extra money. The one thing I always heard during the planning process was if you are going to splurge on anything, splurge on your photography because those are your memories. Your wedding day will fly by before you know it and although you may not think so, you’ll forget a lot of things that happened during your day. I know I sure have!
