We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. David and Briana are a stylish gorgeous couple! Briana is so sweet and David is a true romantic at heart. This past summer they were vacationing in Mexico. If you haven’t been, it’s extremely common to have locals try and sell you trinkets as you relax on the beach. David knew it was going to be a special day so he caved in and bought some name bracelets. Unbeknownst to Briana, he bought one more bracelet. That evening they had a private beach dinner lit by the glow of candles everywhere! When the time was right David got down on one knee and handed her the bracelet. It had the words “marry me” along with a beautiful diamond ring. That moment with her guy couldn’t have been more perfect and she happily said Yes! Like I said they are so sweet to one another and I imagine the rest of their lives will be filled with such romance. Luckily, the colorful autumn leaves have not yet fallen from the trees when we met up with this classy duo. They love the character of Shawnee, OK so we spent the afternoon simply strolling and laughing together. And finally ending up at the old Santa Fe Train Depot. We are over the top excited to shoot their elopement in Aspen, Colorado!
