Scenic Golden Gate Bridge San Francisco Wedding
Dave and Jenny’s destination wedding was a dreamy day in San Francisco, and a perfect celebration of their love and personalities. Dave is thoughtful and a bit shy while Jenny is upbeat and down to earth. They are a sweet couple and it’s so obvious how they are perfect for each other. They currently live and work in Oklahoma and it’s where they got engaged but they have a bunch of family and roots in San Francisco. They wanted to have a destination wedding that captured the beauty and charm of Presidio Park and especially feature their fondness for the Golden Gate Bridge. They fittingly chose the Golden Gate Club as their wedding venue, which is located in the historic Presidio Park in San Francisco.
It was a calm wedding day morning, getting ready in their respective hotel rooms with expansive views of the San Francisco downtown. Itching to calm their nerves, they met at the edge of the Presidio forest, where they saw each other for the first time in their wedding attire. Dave looked dapper in his blue suit and Jenny looked stunning in her white lace dress and veil. Of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without wind swept scenic views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The wind was almost too much but it was cute watching them be playful and adventurous together. They quickly stopped by the shoreline before ending their precious alone time strolling beneath the romantic canopy of Lover’s Lane.
It slowly turned into a bright and sunny day, perfect for an outdoor ceremony next to the Presidio Chapel. It was officiated by Dave’s twin brother (is it not obvious? lol) who added personal touches and humor to the proceedings. It was truly a heartfelt, joyful, and lovely ceremony. The mood and atmosphere of the rest of the night was rejuvenating. The cocktail hour outside the clubhouse had sunny California vibes with chill music from live musicians and the best appetizers I’ve ever had. The reception moved to the ballroom with a floor to ceiling view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The highlight of the reception was the live band. They not only kept the dance floor full but were quite funny emcees. It was a beautiful San Francisco wedding but what I loved most was how intimate and personal everything was. You could feel the warmth of this tight knit group of family and friends. The kindness of Dave, Jenny, their family and friends is what I will remember the most.
It’s better with music!
