Koty and Lily’s wedding at Sparrow Beginnings in Stillwater, OK was pure joy! They have the most contagious smiles and always making each other laugh! After shooting their OSU Engagement Session, we were so excited for what’s in store for their wedding! Stillwater’s newest wedding venue, Sparrow Beginnings, is a special place. It’s grand, bright, and modern with Southern hospitality which is also how I would describe this wedding. Just outside the getting ready rooms is a massive balcony that is split down the middle to separate the gents from the ladies. Koty and Lily opted not to see each other before the ceremony. But they could feel the comfort of each other’s presence and the love from a sweet letter exchange as they held the other’s hand across the division. They met at Oklahoma State University and have so many memories together there, so they added lively pops of orange. The cheerful orange and fuschia florals contrasted well with the turquoise bridesmaid dresses. Lily loved her dress and we do too! When she spinned around in her gown she looked so happy. Nothing, not even the rain, could dampen the spirits of Koty and Lily. They weren’t even phased when it started raining halfway through the ceremony! They were there to be married and that’s what they did. These two are pretty awesome! As the rain poured outside, everyone partied inside. It was a night of laughter, tears, dancing, and a spirited sparkler grand exit!
Congrats Koty and Lily! We surely had a blast knowing you two and meeting all your wonderful friends & families! I love Lily’s dad, he is such a fun character! We hope to see you all around sometime.
