We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. Blake and Karley are big on community, their church community, their friends and family, and simply the feeling of fellowship with others. And you could feel that togetherness when everyone gathered for their wedding day. The day started and ended at Sparrow Beginnings in Stillwater, OK but the highlight of the day was their momentous ceremony at the recently constructed St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. St. Francis Xavier along with Sparrow Beginnings are both bright, refreshing, and welcoming places. Maybe it was the blue skies and sunshine or modern white spaces but there was a charming elegance to the day. It was truly a day to celebrate the love that these two beautiful people shared. The wedding party was such a tight knit fun group to work with. And the day wouldn’t have been the same without the charismatic Fr. Kerry. After the ceremony, the celebration was kicked up to 11 and filled with fanatical dancing and a cornucopia of tacos. The whole day was dreamy, relaxed and so joyful.
