Early March in Oklahoma has a habit of hesitating. Trees pause mid-thought, buds linger on the edge of becoming, and spring takes its time deciding if it’s ready to arrive. For Jake and Cassidy, that pause didn’t matter. They brought spring with them. Their wedding day at Merrick Hollow in Wellston, OK felt like a promise fulfilled. Emerald green set the tone from the very beginning, rich and intentional, echoing new growth and deep-rooted love. While the landscape outside was still gently waking up from winter, the celebration itself was already in full bloom. Merrick Hollow is the kind of place that feels discovered rather than built. Tucked away beyond floating walkways winding their way through towering trees, it offers an intimate, storybook setting that invites you to slow down. The venue blends natural beauty with thoughtful design, making it feel both refined and effortlessly organic. It’s a place where sunlight filters softly through the trees and every turn feels like it could lead to a moment worth remembering.
Jake and Cassidy exchanged vows during an outdoor ceremony bathed in sunshine, the kind of early spring day that feels generous and warm without trying too hard. Even as the trees around them were still finding their footing for the season, the ceremony space felt alive. Florals, greenery, and intentional details framed the moment, transforming the space into something lush and hopeful. The reception was where their vision truly came to life. The space was filled, and then filled some more, with greenery, branches, and flower-filled goodness. Tables overflowed with texture and depth, creating an atmosphere that felt like stepping into a greenhouse in the best possible way. While the trees outside were still stretching toward spring, inside the reception it had fully arrived. Jake and Cassidy’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that no matter the season, love has a way of blooming anyway. Their day felt intentional, joyful, and deeply rooted, a celebration full of warmth, greenery, and the unmistakable feeling of something new beginning. It really was a perfect early spring day, exactly as it was meant to be.
