We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. We’re big fans of love, travel, and adventures which takes us to Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Texas, Washington and across the world. For their Stillwater engagement session, Koty and Lily wanted to go back to where it at started…Physics. They first met during summer school at OSU. They soon found out that not only did they have Physics together but they had chemistry. {Sorry, couldn’t resist}. Lily says that after the first two weeks, she knew he was the one! A year and a half later it was Valentine’s Day. Koty, a true romantic, took her to a movie and dinner. He strategically placed an obvious gift bag on the back seat to distract Lily {it was empty, lol}. Little did Lily know, Koty had a ring in his pocket the whole time. While Lily was curiously wondering why he kept using the restroom, Koty was making secret plans with the waitress. They ordered dessert and when the waitress placed the plate down, an open ring box was sitting right next to the cheesecake. Koty got down on one knee and Lily was so surprised she doesn’t remember exactly what he said but she knows that she said “Yes!”. They hold so many memories at OSU, so after visiting the Physics building they walked the campus across Edmond Low Library lawn, up the stairs of the Student Union and over to Old Central. Their favorite thing to do is simply spend time together. We ventured over to Couch Park here in Stillwater, OK and you can really see how truly in love they are. We can’t wait to celebrate your wedding at Sparrow!
