We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. We’re big fans of love, travel, and adventures which takes us to Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Texas, Washington and across the world. We are passionate about documenting genuine and uninhibited love between two people because telling their story matters.
Colby is all the way up in Washington state while Becca is down in Dallas, TX. Long distance relationships are hard. They try to see each other every chance they get and make the most of it, so we all went on a little adventure! We headed down to Turner Falls Park in Davis, OK by Oklahoma’s Arbuckle Mountains. We love seeing all the gigantic windmills lining the mountain tops on the drive down. They add to the beauty and mystery of the landscape. But what we were in search of was waterfalls. It was off-season for the park so there was more nature for us! It was a serene waterfall engagement for this sweet couple. We then ventured off into the forest along some woodsy trails soaking in the last bits of fall foliage. And ending the evening watching the sunset from the mountain top. If they can love and support each other from a distance then they’ll be unstoppable together! Once they tie the knot this summer, the plane ticket will be one way! We can’t wait for their wedding at the Pearl District Building in May!
