We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. Dan and Kat live just outside Colorado Springs and we happened to be in Aspen Colorado this past fall. So it was a perfect chance to meet halfway at a beautiful secluded spot in Twin Lakes, Colorado for some engagement photos. They are big animal lovers who enjoy nature and spend their spare time hiking and camping. We were very lucky to have met them and go on a mini adventure with them. After spending the afternoon together, we definitely knew we had found new friends. These two are on top of our list for most awesome couples! We surely could have just talked to them for hours about mountains and travels and pets. And it was so cool we even got to see the handmade wooden engagement ring that Dan used to propose to Kat during one of their hiking trips, it was pretty neat! Colorado is a very special place. The scenery is amazing everywhere you go. You can start in a forest and quickly find yourself climbing a mountain or strolling along a lake shore beach. So much wonderful memories here!
