We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. Kaci and Adam’s story started out at a coffee shop. Adam was a barista and Kaci likes coffee…especially when it was made by this handsome guy. Once you get to know them, a sweet coffee shop love story is the perfect background for this genuinely kind-hearted couple. Ever since shooting their Engagement at Natural Falls State Park, we knew they were laid-back and adventuresome. We were so excited for their wedding. As their day drew closer it looked like clouds and rain were in the forecast. Our fears were confirmed as it lightly sprinkled when we arrived to find the girls getting dolled up at the Salon. Smiling, joking, and laughing, the atmosphere was anything but dreary and everyone was so excited for Kaci. When the wedding party arrived at the Vesica Piscis Chapel, it was as if the happiness and love from Adam and Kaci’s friends and family parted the clouds. The sun unexpectedly came out and it turned out to be a beautiful day perfect for a wedding. It was so sweet watching them open gifts that they sneaked to each other before the ceremony. The days have definitely grown short and they were married against the romantic ambiance of twilight and candle light. Everyone of course was excited when they entered the Reception but I think they were even more surprised when Adam literally swept Kaci off her feet for a very smooth and fancy dance number. The dancing continued into the night and everyone had a grand time. At the end of the night, the guests couldn’t leave without a small bag of coffee, taking home a bit of Adam and Kaci’s love story after such an amazing day of celebrating!
Congrats Adam and Kaci! You two are true genuine soft-hearted souls. We wish you and your family mountains of blessings. Your wedding was beautiful and the party was so much fun!
