We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. We’re big fans of love, travel, and adventures which takes us to Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Texas, Washington and across the world. If it happened that Patrick and Chandler didn’t choose us as their photographers, we would totally still want to be their friends…they are that cool! Patrick is so funny, full of energy, and a total romantic at heart. Chandler is outgoing but down to earth and an absolutely beautiful person inside and out. Seven groomsmen, seven bridesmaids, ushers, attendants, more friends, and every single one of them was as genuine and kind as this amazing couple. Seeing them surrounded by their wonderful families and by so many caring hearts was testimony to how fabulous Patrick and Chandler are. These people were the ingredients for this epic wedding! Chandler started the day off in the town of Enid where she grew up and met Patrick. The morning was spent prettying up with her girls trying not to mess up her make-up as she cried over letters they wrote for her. The day went into high gear as everyone traveled to the historical Dominion House in Guthrie, OK to finish getting ready. Chandler looked so stunning in her laced Morilee dress and I loved the long marsala dresses for her bridesmaids. They were perfect for an autumn Dominion House wedding. I felt like I was on a movie set when the guys appeared in their handsome Michael Kors tuxes. The day quickly became real when these two saw each other for the first time that day. I can barely imagine the ocean of emotions that must have been washing over them. The ground was firm beneath Chandler’s feet as she took each barefoot step down the aisle. Their ceremony was definitely not just a formality. The immense significance of the day fell upon everyone in that courtyard as Patrick and Chandler in their finest dress got down on their knees and washed each other’s feet. Words cannot express the humility, service, and love they show each other. The reception in the ballroom was classy with a generous helping of a rockin’ wicked-fun dance fest. Patrick and his boys sure can dance!
Congrats Patrick & Chandler! You two are crazy fun, kindhearted souls, and amazing dancers! Your wedding was unforgettable along with your fun friends and families!
