We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. This spring and start of summer has not been typical in Oklahoma this year. Ominous clouds and rainy days have become the norm. However, I can easily say that the folks in Tulsa still have the positive outlook and friendliness that we have come to adore. Andy and Amber, their friends, and family are on the top of that list. These two human beings are so warm and genuine and the feeling spreads out to those around them. If you’re forced to dodge rain drops and dash in and out of a trolley around Tulsa, this is definitely the couple to be with. Everyone was in good spirits all day! Before the ceremony at the First Baptist Church of Tulsa, Andy and Amber got ready in their respective hotel rooms while putting finishing touches on notes to exchange before the wedding. Heather & Ashlee of Primp Hair & Makeup Studio did a fantastic job styling the girls. Amber looked amazing in her lacy Maggie Sottero gown. I also loved all the sweet flowers put together by Angela Boswell and Amber. The Cain’s Ballroom was an epic place for a wedding reception! Not only is it a stellar looking venue but it has so much history and many memories for those in Tulsa. DJ Bryan Raney dropped some beats and it was a lively night and quite the dance party. Awesome celebration for such a fun and loving couple!
Congrats Andy and Amber! It was such an exciting day and the rainy weather simply adds more to the story.
