We are Scott & Kristine, husband and wife alternative wedding photographers behind Blue Elephant Photography. We are based in Oklahoma with our furry boy Fuji. Ardmore is one of those quaint towns in Oklahoma where people smile at each other on street corners and wave at each other as they drive by. This friendly place was the perfect location for the wedding of such a sweet couple like Josh and Erin. Erin is always fun and bubbly and Josh is a laid back gentleman, a wonderful couple to spend the day with. In the morning, the girls got ready at Maria’s Garden which also provided all the flowers for the day. After getting all dolled up, Erin headed to a nearby park to see Josh for the first time that day. As Josh waited anxiously he mentioned to me how he remembered walking through that exact spot after school growing up. The whole day had that warm familiar feeling that just felt right. Soon the rest of their wedding party including their cute dog Maynard, joined in before heading downtown. It brought us back to the fun we had on their Downtown Tulsa Engagement Session. I love the character of the old buildings. The Harper and Copper Rooms on Caddo Street, where the ceremony took place, embody all of that historical flair. It was a beautiful ceremony dimly lit by candles and strings of light followed by an unforgettable dance party.
