Nicolas and Devon came up from South Carolina to Asheville North Carolina for a mini vacation to visit the Biltmore Estate. Don’t worry, beautiful photos in Charleston, SC are to follow below but I just have to tell the whole story! We also happened to be visiting this monumental mansion when we saw this well dressed kind looking couple, Nicolas and Devon, strolling through the grounds. They just looked too adorable! We couldn’t help ourselves and asked if we could take a few photos of them. They were so fun and gracious. We chatted a bit and found out they were just there for the tour and will be heading back to South Carolina at the end of the week. It just so happened that we were also planning a drive down in the same direction to Charleston, South Carolina to visit The Battery and Folly Beach. So they asked if we had time to do a photo session in the beautiful historic downtown! That serendipitous meeting turned into a sunny afternoon with the sweetest couple. We’re normally not very outgoing but it just goes to show you that the world is full of kind people and it never hurts to put yourself out there. We spent the afternoon exploring all the historic homes and hidden alleyways. A trip to The Battery District in South Carolina is worth it just to see the colorful doors and flowers spilling from the window boxes. Being with these two on vibrant Rainbow Row and bathing in the gorgeous light filtering through the alleys left us with all the summertime feels. After strolling the promenade along the seawall, the ocean was calling so we all headed to Folly Beach to soak up every last bit of sunset light. We had the best time with Devon and Nicolas in Charleston, SC. They’re so laid back and just so much fun to be with. They’re like a ray of sunshine!
