Charlie and Caitlyn’s engagement session at Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve felt like discovering a hidden world you almost can’t believe exists. It feels unexpected, a little wild, and completely unforgettable in the best way. What makes it even more fascinating is its history. Built over a century ago by oil pioneer Frank Phillips, Woolaroc was once a private retreat, a hidden sanctuary that still carries that sense of secrecy and wonder today. You can feel it as you move through the property. It is expansive, a little mysterious, and entirely its own.
As we explored, something magical kept unfolding in the most natural way. Horses wandered through the background as if they had been perfectly placed, though nothing about the day was staged. The light was soft, the air felt still, and everywhere we turned there was another quiet, beautiful moment waiting to happen. It was the kind of setting that does not need much.
